Leadership

Leadership is important for personal and professional growth. Leadership is critical in the area of teaching or being a mentor. When instructing those without the proper guidance and in need of direction, regardless of what arena you find yourself in. If you are without the knowledge to move forward, you need some form of leadership. Once instructed and it is proven that you can take a leadership role, be it with your particular position, stage of life, or something you are trying to master, an individual should be left to handle their business or responsibility.

It is an important mentality in business. There must be a head or leader to lead those under his/her command. To accomplish a goal that requires multiple entities, an individual must lead effectively. A business, team, or unit must have some form of leadership. Deligation is also very important when one is placed in a position of leadership. Being able to find the right persons to assist in the completion of a task.

Leadership is always very important in regard to family. Historically, the hiearchy was Father, Mother, etc. We all know that the Nuclear Family Structure has changed in our society somewhat. However, there still must be a head. Someone to provide and give guidance and protection. It has become acceptable by necessity that women have become leaders in the home and God bless them, there is nothing wrong with that. Even with that "prop" those of us with proper understanding know the true order of things.

Lastly, There is leadership in spirituality or faith. Those of us who are religious know that spiritual guidance is vital to get a better understanding of a higher power and our role in the scheme of things from a faith perspective. Once that need is fulfilled and there is understanding, and that is different for everyone, it is up to the individual to walk that path independently for his own betterment. Your Minister, Imam, or Rabbi is not your parent. Do not give them power over your life. Remember they are human beings, of flesh and blood, and they are physical representatives of your faith. That does not make them deities.They are there to help guide and teach. With Understanding, your road to the creator is clear and then leadership is within you for your own life.

We should all strive for leadership in our own way. Again, in our own life, in our own world, aren't you working toward being first or number one; in a position at the front. That is Leadership.
