True Closeness
Have you ever felt a closeness with an individual and it was so uncanny that initially it did not make sense to you?
A feeling that was unlike any sensation you have ever experienced before, almost beyond friendship or even family ties.
A connection that is so intense that it is indescribable and there has been no physical intimacy that launched it.
The very thought of this electrifying occurrence is so mind boggling that you are unable to find words that could express it honestly.
I like to think it’s that “myth” we have come to call “Love at first sight”. Many believe it does not exist, especially in our current day and age. Many people do not believe in relationships and feel people just have too many issues. Women have a host of complaints about men; they are not mature enough, Mommy issues, no job, too much game, not serious about anything, jail, homosexuality, etc.
However, it is not always about sight or circumstance. Some individuals just connect; through conversation or a vibe. These things are real and sometimes you just have to respect it. Also keep in mind that you can never appreciate a true closeness or intimacy until you first have these feelings for yourself. Basically meaning you must love “you” first.
The reality is simple, how can you love truly and sincerely without first loving yourself. Selfishness initially is not a bad thing. In order to care for someone else, you must first take care of yourself. The true and first closeness.
